Seniors in Seva was created in 2022 by five batch-mates from the Class of 1984, Institute of Rural Management (IRMA).
After four decades as working professionals, many of us were transitioning into retirement. Still wanting to do something meaningful, we came together inspired by a shared belief – that there was an opportunity to harness the experience of senior and retired professionals like ourselves for pro bono consulting aimed at the development sector.
To bring this idea to life, a trust was registered on 5th December, 2022, laying the foundations for an ambitious plan to support India’s development sector.
During its formative phase, this idea benefitted much from the support and encouragement received from team members of the “Every Indian Volunteering” organisation.
